Read more »A vital part of the church’s Christian educational ministry is “Confirmation.” a two year ministry (Usually during the 6th-8th grade years), which includes instruction in the Christian faith, and which leads to the Confirmation ceremony, and the welcome to the Lord’s Supper.
Youth learn and review basic foundational teachings of the Christian faith, develop relationships with one another and adults, share faith with one another, and learn together about congregational life and the service and mission of the Church.
Confirmation events take place usually every other week from September to June – on either a Thursday evening or Saturday afternoon. We expect each youth in Confirmation to serve as an Acolyte.
